Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on February 29, 2024 only on PlayStation 5, exclusive. We know it won’t be a total exclusivity, just a temporary one… but how long will it last exactly? Here you will find everything you need to know.
Square Enix has already confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be exclusive to the PS5 for at least three months until May 29, 2024 The game can no longer be released on other platforms. After this date, the publisher is free to bring Rebirth to PC and other consoles.
For now, however, it’s best to calm the enthusiasm because Square Enix never announced other versions of the game. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will arrive later on PC, while there are no confirmations of a possible release on consoles such as the Xbox Series
The PlayStation 5 version is currently the only one confirmed for consoles and we remember the case of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, now also freed from exclusivity restrictions, but still anchored on the console side on PS4 and PS5.
